Baby B washed up

on shore

slightly mangled
.

seaworthiness damaged
,

a remnant.

She drew a crowd,

worshippers and

supporters,

was hauled away

for repairs.

Now floats again

with no mind

for those she lost at sea.

THE OCEAN, IT DOES NOTHING

Moon forces cause waves of love

to crash as soft lipped kisses

enveloping, mesmerizing the shore

Who waits patiently for the next barrage

The ocean, it does nothing.

Communication, like the orange balloon

slips into the gray silk cloud purse

Stored for days that the sun does

not arrive

Thoughts of love,

like lighted boats

floating

as flotsam and jetsam of

the universe

Tiny dots filled with life and lost.

And the ocean, it does nothing.
